Paper Craft Crew Challenge Sketch 132 (PCCCS132), Happy Birthday to You

Hello my friends. Today is Paper Craft Crew Challenge Sketch 132 and here is our sketch.

PCCCS132

For my card, I flipped the sketch. I don't think I've ever used as many die-cut sets as I did on this card either. I have 5 sitting on my messy desk! I am constantly running low on birthday cards and since I haven't made one in a while, I thought that I would today. I used some retired gold wire as my balloon string, which I think turned out pretty cool. I just wrapped it around a pencil to get the swirls. This card is also gold heavy. Gold is in my designer series paper, the balloon tail, vellum paper, gold foil paper and buttons. In person, it's really very cool looking and not gold overkill. All products that I used are in the new Spring Occasions Catalog. Don't forget to check out what's in our many Project Life Kits to see how you can incorporate those products into your card too. I've done this a few times and it adds some fabulous flair! Since I used a photopolymer stamp set, I was able to curve the "birthday" stamp on the block to fit perfectly inside my banner. I love the designer series paper that I used. It's very fun and bold, and that help me offset the gold a bit. All of my images came from one stamp set too! Super versatile. I hope you enjoy today's card and be sure to check out the Paper Craft Crew Challenge Sketch Blog to see what the other ladies on the design team made for you.

On my Supply List, I forgot to add the the Magnetic Platform (130658), that I used with my Big Shot. It's a must have!

Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today and God bless you.
