Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another Nothing’s Better Than project focusing on cocktails.
I know this card is brighter than the other coordinating cards in this gift set, but I loved the color combination of Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay, and Early Espresso. I used the same sketch and concept as the other cards. I added extra dimension to this one by stamping the solid cocktail glass contents in Pumpkin Pie ink and then inked the edges of the glass content with Bermuda Bay to get the tropical cocktail look and feel.
I’m not one to know my mixed drinks or colors, but I have seen some very colorful combinations over the years, and I wanted to keep the tropical colors. Nothing’s Better Than is a bundle right now, which will be in the 2021-2022 catalog, but not at the bundle savings of 10%, which is basically your shipping cost, for that discount.
Bermuda Bay was used to stamp in the cocktail parasol and Pumpkin Pie stamped off once for the fruit off to the left side of the cocktail.
Bermuda Bay Brights 6 x 6 DSP was used for the striped polka dot panel on the card front. The color and design possibilities are endless with this delightful bundle that’s perfect for all seasons and occasions.
