Lovely Wishes Notecard Using New Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers

Hello there! I hope this finds you doing well. I keep saying that I’m going to get back on top of my game, and I really will…one day. In the meantime, I’m so crazy busy, but in the best way ever. I do start out each week with really good intentions. I do apologize for the quality of the pictures. The weather hasn’t been very cooperative and I’m still trying to find good lighting angles.

Today I have this darling card to share with you that I’m sending to a friend’s daughter who is putting herself through college. Sarah is such a kind and wonderful young lady, who unfortunately lost her mother last year to a sudden brain aneurysm. This was a very tragic loss for a lot of us. The 1-year anniversary is coming up pretty fast and after losing a parent suddenly as I did, I have a unique understanding and perspective.

I felt that this very uplifting and pretty card to her is just what she needs right now. It’s very clean and simple, but packs a good punch with incorporating the gold thread nest and the new Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers that I’ve been having a fun time playing with. They are so incredibly easy to use with only 2 shades to blend. You can also use the tip-to-tip technique for additional options and to alter color. I am Copic Certified, so it was easy for me to “get” it. I did make a video on this card and if it doesn’t transfer over, I will remake it and focus on key areas of how to use the Blends, the right cardstock and solid answers will be provided that you’ve wondered about as to whether to take the plunge or not on the investment. They are totally worth it. These markers are consumable items at a terrific price point with so many options.

If you do not have any Stampin’ Up! catalogs or brochures, please contact me and I’ll be sure to get what you need out right away if you’re in the US due to Stampin’ Up! policy. For my wonderful customers, you have a big package coming your way as I kept filling them up with Thank You cards, card kits, free stamp sets, the works. They have filled up so much that I have to make a post office run. It’s that getting behind thing and I’m making it up to you for hanging in there with me during my extremely traumatizing auto accident. I still can’t believe I walked away from that one and neither can anybody else. God definitely had my back that cold, dark morning. I will suggest to you that when the ambulance comes along, you listen, even though you think you are okay. You’re not. You’re running on adrenaline and then you crash and it all catches up with you very fast, especially the extent of your injuries. Since I’m still on this 2 months later, I felt the need to start counseling at church. I was struggling shaking this off and there was no way that I was going to allow a deer to take me out. Night driving was fearfully paralyzing. I’m okay driving at night if there’s good street lighting or on the highway. Other than that, absolutely not and I panic out hyperventilating all the way home and somebody always has to talk me through it while driving. I have learned how to get behind other drivers enough to where I’m not tailgating and let them lead the way on country roads. You play these mind games with yourself and almost get an OCD routine going, like getting that Playlist set up and ready to go with other oddities. After dinner last night, I drove home 7 miles on a country road and handled it very well…until I was just around the corner from home, hit a patch of black ice and almost went into my neighbor’s front yard. I corrected that immediately and then had to laugh as I’m thinking only that would happen to me and it’s so true. It would only happen to me. That’s just the way it goes and I roll with it, because I have to.

Below is the video that I made for this card and I hope that you enjoy. I’m also in the process of putting together my Product Shares for the Occasions Catalog and my January-February Customer Card Kits, so be on the lookout for that. My Product Shares are a great value and different than what’s usually put out there.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today to visit me and God bless.
