Love Potion No. 9

Good afternoon. Can you believe I got some free stamping time today? I can't, but I'll definitely pay for it tomorrow while catching up on everything, but it was worth it. I love how this card turned out. It's not often that I can say that I love how one of my cards turned out, but this is one of them. I think it's the colors and mix of designer paper and how it contrasts with the image. I mean, mixing chemistry with flowers isn't exactly the norm, but it definitely worked for this card!

I made this card for today's Sweet N' Sassy Stamps, The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge 91 (SSS91). There was a spin to this challenge to dry emboss and since flower paper was already pre-embossed, and it may be taking liberties, I thought that it would work just fine. Last week's sketch challenge had 98 participants, only 2 short of 100! If this sketch reaches 100 participants, I'm sure that Korin will have an awesome prize for you, like a free stamp set!

Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps is also a partner company at Christian Paper Crafts. Not only do members get a sweet discount on stamp sets, we also get to see them 2 weeks in advance than everybody else and can order them, so by the time that they're released to the public, we're already inking them up, so this is just another reason why to join us at Christian Paper Crafts. Also, on the 15th of every month, the design team releases their Design Team Delights, which is a special gallery for our Super Sister and King's Daughter subscribers. Our theme this month is Love is in the Air and there's 75 projects in this exclusive gallery from cards, scrapbook pages, mini albums, tags, tutorials, candy treat boxes; you name it, and we have it in there for you. There' some serious eye candy and talent, and you don't want to miss this gallery. it's positively fabulous and you've never seen anything like it before. I know that I haven't and will be spending hours in there for inspiration. Won't you join our great community today? We have subscriptions plans for any budget and it's a great investment on your behalf. You won't regret becoming a member of Christian Paper Crafts, but you'll be missing out on a lot if you don't. Our guest designer this month is Taylor Usry and you all know her cutting edge work. We're also blessed to have her stay on as a permanent design team member starting February 1.

Here's my card that I'd like to share with you. I hope you like it and God bless your day. Today's Treasure: Philippians 2:12-18. Also, this card, and most of my other cards on the blog are in my Etsy Boutique where you can purchase them! I'll be the first one to admit that I need to do a much better job of keeping my shop current and uploading more cards.
