Little Dreamers Baby Girl Cards | Watercoloring

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a couple of baby cards created from the adorable Little Dreamers Bundle. I don’t do baby cards too often but, these were fun to make. My neighbors and lawn service both just had baby girls so I decided to put these together. I couldn’t make my mind up if I wanted to gold or white heat emboss the image panel and decided to go with both.

The image panel, clouds, stars, and moons are watercolored in Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia using Re-inkers and Water Brushes.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with my Bubble Bath card bases and stamped the Perfectly Detailed background in Bubble Bath ink on the card base.

I cut the Fresh Freesia panel to size and ran it through the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder in the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine that was adhered to the card base with Tear & Tape.

I cut the watercolor paper to size and watercolored the image panel using a Bubble Bath Re-inker. After the paper dried, I used my Embossing Buddy to cover the entire panel. I lined up the paper in my Stamparatus, arranged the images, stamped both with Versamark ink, and heat embossing in gold and white powder.

At the same time as I watercolored the above, I also colored a large panel using a Fresh Freesia Re-inker. Once that dried, I die-cut the clouds, moon, and stars from the Little Dreamers Dies.

I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White CS with Memento Tuxedo Black and then cut this from the 3rd largest Nested Essentials Dies. I used a hole punch on both sentiments to tie my Seam Binding through that was colored with a Fresh Freesia Dark Stampin’ Blend.

For final assembly, the image panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The clouds were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals with the moons adhered to the clouds with Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid adhesive.

The stars were adhered with liquid adhesive.

Iridescent Rhinestones were scattered about the card front.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
