The large cake image is very easy to fussy cut, which you will see on today’s card. On Thursday, I will have a more masculine card for you and hopefully sneak in a few Concept Art projects.
My card base is Basic Gray with a Petal Pink mat.
The image was stamped with Basic Gray ink and the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. As always, I left the image on the door of the Stamparatus so that I could come back and re-stamp the image after coloring with Watercolor Pencils to keep the lines crisp. I used Flirty Flamingo on the flowers layering the color up and also layered the color up on the Old Olive leaves. Melon Mambo is on the bud images, Daffodil Delight on the cake, with Coastal Cabana for the cake stand, blended out. A Champagne Rhinestone Jewel was placed in the center of each flower.
I was going after a much lighter Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana to more so highlight the fussy cut flowers layered onto the cake.
