I’m a Grandmother! Hello There, FTL292

Hello there! Thank you for stopping by to visit me today.

I haven't been blogging or crafting at all lately since I'm so busy all of the time and at the end of the day looking around, it's like, what did I get done today? Frustrating.

However, I did become a grandmother last week on May 15. Aiden Michael came 4 days early but he is a big boy weighing in at 8 pounds 1 ounce. He is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen in my life. One of my girlfriends use to Skype with her grandkids and read books to them. I hope that one day I can do that with my grandson. I'm still trying to figure out who he looks like.

I have a clean and simple card for you using the sketch at the Clean & Simple Stamping Blog: Fall to Layout 292. I used a lot of new Stampin' Up! products on this card. The base of my card is Whisper White but the designer series paper at the bottom is from the new Lullaby. Babies are a big trend right now and Stampin' Up! has veered away from the traditional pink and blue colors. You will love the entire suite with some wonderful stamps and die-cuts. I've used Stampin' Up! products for 7 years now – wow, I didn't think it was that long I have been doing this – but I have to say that by far, this is the best catalog I've seen yet! Take a look at one of the brand new In Colors I used of Hello Honey and coordinating ribbon. Love. It. Last year's In Colors are also making an appearance in the new Calypso Coral Twine. I used a new hostess stamp set called Hello There, which is very cool, Adorning Accents Edgelits and Chalk Talk Framelits, which you can use anything for, including triple layering the dies. I only did 2 this time. I also used the Notable Notations stamp set and stamped that with some of last year's In Colors.

You can buy all of the new Stampin' Up! products HERE starting June 2. If you need a catalog, shoot me off an email and I will send one out to you. I'm also going to do PRODUCT SHARES too. These are very popular and a tremendous way to save money, as well as to check out new products, and they take up less space in your craft room. Mine is so full it's overwhelming.

I hope that you enjoy this card. I did make a video for it but I knew it was going to be an hour long for some reason and I haven't even unloaded it from my camcorder yet, because I'm just talking and teaching away and going through the process of how I made this card. I'm also getting bummed as to why my cards are so dark!

Have a great day and God bless.
