I Am Thankful

Hi friends. Once a week I try to make a card for fun and was able to do one today, which I'm thankful for. The unpacking is still coming along and again, I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm still waiting for that one critical piece of furniture to house my paper and other embellishments and the kids' furniture, but it's all coming along quite nicely. I put a huge dent in the eat-in kitchen and family room, which is my studio because of the weird shape of it so it works out really well. I finally have that open concept I've always wanted of the kitchen, eat-in kitchen opening up to the family room but instead, it's where I'm crafting! I do have a lovely brick fireplace in my studio which is really nice.

Today's card is just a card that I made because I am thankful. My inspiration for this card came from this Sharing Warm Thoughts card. I broke out a lot of product that I haven't used for a very long time and I have never opened up the main image of the birds as I used two different stamp sets from two different manufacturers. This card is a good combination of various manufacturers and how you can make the products work together. There's a little bit of everything here. It's not quite identical to my inspiration but I really like the way that it turned out and hope that you do too.

I also took a visit to my friend Jennipher Lowery's blog and entered The Perfect Sentiment Challenge 53D. It's their one year anniversary! Congrats to Jen and her team! I also found another challenge along the way of Sentimental Sunday to use black, white, and one other color. Since my brown is a neutral, I'm using my Ripe Avocado as my other color.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless you! Colossians 3:15 – And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
