Have a Wild Day!

Good morning and a blessed Lord's Day to you! I don't know what it is with me and cute/juvenile cards lately when I have teenagers and nobody to give these to but donating them, but I've been making a lot of them lately and it's been fun. I've had this My Mind's Eye designer paper for a while now and think that I was just really wanting to use that so I used a new release stamp set from the Taylored Expressions July release. Circus stamps and paper seem to be all the rage right now and I'm sure it will be something else in a few weeks as that's how fast this industry moves to keep you broke! When I purchase stamps and paper, to be fiscally responsible, I will buy the timeless classics, those that are always in style, and add a few elements from the trends to keep my cards updated. I always make sure that I have enough in the stamping budget to stay current on the die-cuts and embellishments. Usually from my publication money, I will reinvest that back into my craft supplies, but with 2 mortgages, I've only been reinvesting half and putting the other half in the household funds. Being on several design teams always helps too as I can get their product at a discount or free. And speaking of design teams, I might have some potentially WOW news to announce to you within the next few weeks of an opportunity that I never thought would come my way personally, and there's some more WOW news to be announced at Christian Paper Crafts as well, so there's a lot of excitement going on that I'm just dying to share with you but have to wait until the time is right.

I made this card just to make it and used the Fall to Layout 151 (FTL151) clean and simple sketch challenge. As you know, my style lately has been completely clean and simple and I'm much more happy with the cards that I'm making. They're just uncluttered and clean, yet still pack that WOW factor. Here's my card that I'd like to share with you today and I thank you so much for stopping by to visit me and may the Lord richly bless your day. Don't forget to play in my Paper Creations Magazine Summer Celebration Challenge that's open until August 12 at midnight where you could win a Papertrey Ink stamp set! I'm looking forward to your creations! Today's Treasure: Mark 8.
