FS258 You Make Me Smile

Hi and a very happy Saturday evening/Sunday morning to you! Today I have a wonderfully talented Featured Stamper at Splitcoast Stampers to share with you of Holstein (Linda). There's some serious eye candy in Linda's gallery and I had a very hard time just choosing one card to CASE. I love how she combines her products and makes them all work together seamlessly regardless of the manufacturer.

I chose a newly uploaded card that immediately caught my eye as I had a horse stamp and wanted to give my oldest daughter a little something. My card, You Make Me Smile, is inspired by Linda's TLC359 Favorite card. I loved the image and really everything about the card. My card uses a different image, my sketch is different, we share the main colors of black and white, but I also added some light coloring rather than penciling that might be difficult to see in the photograph. The horses are colored with a B60 Pale Blue Gray marker because I wanted my horses to be Blue Roan. We have a majestic Blue Roan horse next door that I see get walked daily outside of my studio window. I also colored my grass with using a YG0000 Lily White marker that adds a bit of color to the grass.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and may God bless you. Today's Treasure: Mark 8:22-25.
