Focus on Online Exclusives | How to Create Gold Splatters Without Gold

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a focus on some of our Online Exclusives and how to make your own gold splatter + tone-on-tone stamping for the images.

Today’s card was created with the Irresistible Blooms Bundle, which is part of the Irresistible Blooms Suite Collection, Radiating Stitches Dies, and Naturally Gilded Specialty Designer Series Paper. Our colors are Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Parakeet Party, and Fresh Freesia.

A lot of new Online Exclusives were released on July 6 and I encourage you to take a look.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with my Very Vanilla Thick CS and cut the Very Vanilla Regular CS and DSP to size. I adhered the DSP to the Very Vanilla Regular CS. I did this because I wanted a thicker panel as I knew I was going to load it up.

I cut my Crushed Curry CS from the 2nd largest die from Radiating Stitches and the Basic White Regular CS panel from the smallest Radiating Stitches Die.

To make my gold splatters, I used a few drops from Wild Wheat Ink Refill into a Stampin’ Spritzer, added a little water, and squeezed several drops from a Wink of Stella Glitter Pen into my potion, then shook it up. I took our smallest Water Painter with a wet tip, dipped this into my formula, and splattered it onto the Basic White Regular CS panel.

I took the smaller flower from Irresistible Blooms and stamped it 3x onto Daffodil Delight CS with Daffodil Delight ink then cut from its coordinating die.

The leaves were stamped onto Parakeet Party CS with Parakeet Party ink then cut from their coordinating dies.

The accent florals were stamped onto Fresh Freesia CS with Fresh Freesia ink then cut from its coordinating die.

The sentiment was stamped onto Basic Black CS with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white powder that I cut to size with my Paper Trimmer.

For final assembly, I adhered the DSP panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Crushed Curry and Basic White Regular cuts were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This card is very dimensional at times stacking 3 Stampin’ Dimensionals that was mainly on thee Daffodil Delight flowers. The leaves were adhered with a combination of Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid adhesive. The Fresh Freesia arrangements were adhered with liquid adhesive. You’re just going to have to wing this one when you put it together.

Lastly, 3 large gold Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were used as stamens for the flowers.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
