Faith on Friday, Good Friday is Beautiful & Video

FaithOnFridayGraphic

Hello my friends and welcome to this week's episode of Faith on Friday. Today is Good Friday and it seems so understated calling today simply a "Good Friday!" It is not just "good" that Christ died a horrible and painful death as a human on the cross for our sins; this was God on that cross lowering himself to us to save us from ourselves so that we may have eternal life with Him. That is pure love. It was a tremendous sacrifice. In taking a preschool approach, who would want to leave heaven to come here? To a world full of filth, sin and pollution? I sure wouldn't. Then again, I am a selfish human being who doesn't have that type of love…although I really try to every day and it is getting so much easier now that I'm not in my own Egypt in bondage. It's not going to take me 40 years to get to the Promised Land either.

Today I wanted to share with you a couple of things. First, this is my card for my Faith on Friday series where I focus on scripture on my project. Second, it's also a small introductory preview to my Clean and Simple Card Class that will be starting on April 22. The class is Monday through Friday, one week long, but it's full of so much material and a wealth of information. I'm especially excited about this class because clean and simple is my personal style and I have so much to show you! There will be videos galore because I talk too much but will keep on working right through them. I am a teacher at heart so I am very detailed and offer alternatives and suggestions. I'm not just slapping cards together for you. I am teaching.

I am hoping to have the card class site set up no later than Sunday so you can start signing up. The price is $9.99 and is a great investment. You will have lifetime access to the videos and materials provided, including charts. I will have a supply list all ready for you but I strongly stress that you work from your own stash. The vendor discounts are just that; generous manufacturers who have provided us with a store discount if you would like something you've seen in class or want to try a new product. Of course I have prizes along the way too! I also have your favorite designers as guest designers. And we're just going to have a lot of fun. During class, we have a message forum so that I can answer any questions for you. I would love to have you join me for class!

So onto my card now. This is a beautifully handcrafted card that is perfect for a gift set. You can easily mass produce this using different patterned paper, card stock base and scripture. You could put several sets together in an hour. I love these kinds of projects and will be keeping this one handy for myself for gift giving.

I hope that you enjoyed today's video and card. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and many blessings to you. Remember God's love for you today and every day. I pray that you have a blessed Resurrection Day with your loved ones.

Ephesians 6:4. And ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Some parents actually goad their children to exasperation through overindulgence. They are too permissive. Research from many different sources show that children who are given too much autonomy feel insecure and unloved. No wonder. After all, Scripture says parents who let their children misbehave with no consequences are actually showing contempt for the child (Prov. 13:24). Children know that instinctively, and it exasperates them.
