Creating a Canopy with Ice Cream Corner Suite Collection + Scalloped Contours Dies

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today on how to create a canopy with the Ice Cream Corner Suite Collection + Scalloped Contours Dies, which is an absolute must-have staple for your die collection.

The Ice Cream Corner Suite Collection is currently deeply discounted or available while supplies last. However, the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set + the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch has carried over to the new Annual Catalog. This is your last opportunity to purchase the Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon, Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper, and Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.

I started out with an A2 Blackberry Bliss card base and cut the largest Stitched Rectangle Die from Basic White CS. I layered on a piece of Old Olive polka dot Ice Cream Corner DSP at the bottom of the image panel and stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in Bermuda Bay above.

For the canopy, I cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss striped Ice Cream Corner DSP to 3-3/4 x 1-1/4; scored at 1/4″ and 1/2″, and scored between the scallops. After burnishing the 1/4″ and 1/2″ score lines, I glued 1/4″ to the back of the Basic White image mat and used the 2nd 1/2″ score line to create the canopy.

Once I aligned where the canopy would hover, I stamped another sentiment in Bermuda Bay.

For the ice cream cones, I punched out 3 cones from the Ice Cream Corner DSP with the obvious pattern and 3 scoops from the DSP in Bumblebee, Petal Pink, and Purple Posy, the left and right side of which were adhered with Mini and regular Stampin’ Dimensionals. The center cone and scoop was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. Coordinating colors of Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles were adhered to the scoops using liquid adhesive and my Take Your Pick tool.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
