DesignTeamWork

Greetings crafty people! Welcome to another installment of Clean & Simple Tuesdays. This week, I'm going to use the Clean and Simple Stamping Blog; Fall to Layout 264 (FTL264) for my sketch and design team work. As always, Natasha has a wonderful sketch for us to work from.

Papertrey Ink released a couple of new sets this month that I had to have of Come All Ye Faithful and the additions. There's a Dachshund in this set (and my Bella is a Doxie), so that's a no-brainer. It's just the cutest set and I'll be getting a lot of use out of this one. It's so stinkin' adorable! I'm going neutral with this sketch and I knew exactly what ribbon I wanted to use for my card. My ribbon has a tiny thread of red running through it so I'll also be using a little splash of red to tie it together. My ribbon was in the "I'm hoarding this ribbon that I haven't touched for years just in case I might need it one day." I had one precious strip of ribbon left. Whew! I'm also using Memento Luxe as my ink where I can. I mentioned earlier how much I LOVE this ink and you must get it. You will be happy. I used Memento markers to color in my sentiment stamp and was very happy with the coverage as normally, you can always tell when somebody colors directly onto a stamp.

My picture is going to be on the really bad side but I'll try! I left the camera that I usually use at my dad's but have my baby stuff in your purse for one of those moments Nikon that I can't get the lense protector off of (duh) and I have my dad's really killer Nikon that intimidates me big time that I can use, so we will see what the camera gods decide. Scratch that. I don't have the cord for my dad's camera to hook up to my computer so this is going to be an iPhone picture (ack!).

I'm going to play loose with this sketch as my patterned paper is pretty cool and I wanted the bottom of it to show the wording on the front of the card. Enjoy and make today count. Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today. Blessings.

Jeremiah 9:8. This verse means that you say one thing but believe another in your heart and act on it, which is just not good.

Photobucket A Stamp-a-ma-jig will be a big help to perfectly stamp your images.

Photobucket This set is a dream to paper piece. Just image all of the patterns and colors you can use! This little guy would look so cute with the antlers die with a tiny red jewel on his nose.

Photobucket Keep the pup wired to it's sweater. It's much easier to die-cut and the dies do come packaged wired. I will tell you that a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 sheet of card stock will get you 5 cuts of the pup and sweater. Use temporary adhesive on the back of your images and adhere to a piece of foam for a precise image.
