Color Theory: Nothing’s Better Than Bundle Simple Stamping + Another Happy Accident

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an easy color theory + simple stamping project using the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle with the retiring Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper and the returning Painted Labels Dies.

This card features a bright, neutral, and subtle; Pale Papaya, Coastal Cabana, and Early Espresso. I love fresh color combinations. These colors are perfect for early Spring or Fall.

My happy accident is when I was stamping the coffee cup solid image. My Coastal Cabana ink pad needs a refresh, so I stamped the image x3 to brighten it and ended up with the retired In Color of Call Me Clover. Try this with our color palette. You will get amazing results and create different colors. The possibilities are truly endless with this technique.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with a top-folding A2 Early Espresso card base. I cut my Very Vanilla mat and DSP to size, then adhered them together with liquid adhesive. More liquid adhesive was applied to the back of this panel and adhered to the card base.

I cut the Coffee die x5 from Coastal Cabana CS and stacked them using liquid adhesive.

I stamped the solid cup image onto Very Vanilla CS x2 in Coastal Cabana ink. I stamped the line art coffee cup over the solid coffee cup in Early Espresso and then cut both from the coordinating die.

I cut the large label from Painted Labels from Crumb Cake CS and the small label from Very Vanilla Regular CS. The sentiments were stamped with Early Espresso ink onto the Very Vanilla label using my Stamparatus.

For final assembly, the Crumb Cake CS was adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive. The image panel was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The stacked sentiment die-cut was adhered with liquid adhesive. The bottom coffee cup was tucked under the sentiment and adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The coffee cup on the right was adhered with a very thin line of liquid adhesive on the left side of the image and a Stampin’ Dimensional at the far right to maintain balance. One large Very Vanilla Classic Matte Dot was adhered to the lower right of the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
