Make the Card Challenge 35 ~ Country Life + Buffalo Plaid

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Make the Cards Challenge 35, #MTCC35, where our fun theme is Country Life + Buffalo Plaid, and hope that you join us.

I have been unbelievably amiss about promoting Sale-A-Bration this time around, which ends TODAY. This project features the Peaceful Deer Bundle on page 26 of the Holiday Catalog with the coordinating Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper on pages 8-9 of the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.

Peaceful Deer is such a fabulously versatile bundle + the designer series paper is so classic.

This isa very simple stamping project that takes minutes to create.

As always, your Instructions and Supplies, including measurements, are below.

I started out with a top-folding A2 Real Read card base . I cut 2 Sahara Sand patterns from Peaceful Prints DSP out of the largest Stitched Rectangle Die. I stamped the sentiment from Peaceful Deer onto the center bottom of the DSP in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and adhered the sentiment panel to the tree pattern DSP at the bottom. I tied a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon where the image and sentiment panels meet in a bow at the left side, then adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I punched out the deer from the Deer Builder Punch from Basic Black CS and Real Red/Basic Black gingham pattern Peaceful Prints DSP. I adhered the gingham print deer to the Basic Black CS for more stability, and then took a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to trace the outside of the deer. The deer was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
