Bee Mine

I think this is just too cute! Today's Limited Supply Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers was to make tiny treats. This was a fun challenge and just what I needed to do before tackling that kitchen again. What started out as one accent wall has turned into three! I'm getting a new stone back splash and it would cover up the red paint that I have so all that would be left is the red paint up above the cabinets. It would look really weird and out of place, so I was going to continue the red paint over to a wall on the same side of the kitchen where I have two large floor-to-ceiling windows and a french door going outside to the sun porch. I honestly should have stopped there but I just kept on going to the 2 other walls and it's turned into quite the project! I do need to pay more attention to my house and change it up a bit. It's been a long work in progress for 3 years now and while nobody's house is ever really "done," I'm getting tired of everything being the same.

Now for the details on my little project. I made a mini 3 x 3 card with a peppermint patty as the treat. If you look at it, it's pretty self-explanatory on how I made it, so I'll just list the recipe under the pictures. I did sponge the Crushed Curry heart inside the card and on the treat. It's hard to see that on the photos, but the sponging gives it some great dimension.

I hope you enjoy this and thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a blessed weekend!
