Alpine Adventure Product Suite Series ~ Day 2

Hello there y’all! Welcome to Day 2 of my Alpine Adventure Product Suite Series. Today’s card is a little bit more detailed with a lot of different products used. That is what I love about Stampin’ Up! Everything coordinates and works together with minimal supplies, and I’m so about keeping it all simple.

Products that I did not include in the Supply List, which are linked for you below:

  1. Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
  2. Bright Copper Shimmer Paint.
  3. AquaPainters.
  4. Dashing Along Designer Series Paper, no longer available as promotion ended.

Here is the card that we will be making today.

Before I forget the mention, I used Crumb Cake and ink distressed all panels around the edges. Old school … because I’m just there right now. I have some good layers with die-cut stacking for dimension.

I started out with an A2 top-folding Crumb Cake base and decided to break out the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (DSP) for both patterned papers. For the strip on top of the print text, I die-cut in some stitch detail from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies. To build up my base more, I die-cut the 2nd label from the largest from Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, ran it through the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, ink distressed the edges, adhered it to the card, and took an Aqua Painter with Bright Copper Shimmer Paint, and splattered the paint onto the panels.

The sled was die-cut from Merry Merlot 3x and stacked, which is like using a chipboard element. Behind the sled is a thread nest I made with Copper Metallic Thread. The adhesive from the back keeps the thread nest in place. The wreath was put down the same as yesterday, except I used Garden Green rather than Shaded Spruce. A Copper Foil Sheet was used to die-cut out the tiny bow. A short length of Garden Green & White Baker’s Twine was used to turn the sled into a makeshift tag of sorts.

The sentiment is white heat embossed onto Merry Merlot Card Stock and stapled to the right side of the card with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional towards the left side for dimension. There is so much going on with this card in the form of accessories and elements, texture and dimension, great, rich colors, with a classic sketch.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed today’s card and give it a try yourself. If you have any questions, always feel free to shoot me off an email. Thank you for stopping by to visit me today. I’m looking forward to seeing you tomorrow for Day 3. Have a great day and God bless.
