A Vintage-y Valentine for Cardabilities #25

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day! Remember when I said that I wasn't going to make anymore Valentine's Day cards? I guess I wasn't thinking very clearly and obviously am still not thinking too clear because here's another Valentine's Day card from me! This card was made for the Cardabilities #25 sketch challenge. I don't remember my exact thought process as to how I started this card but was going through some designer paper and this vintage Valentine's Day paper jumped out at me so I had to use it. I then went through my Clear Art Stamps to see if I had something that was compatible with this and I didn't. Then I remembered I had the Greeting Card Kids stamp set by Stampin' Up! and remembered that was a bit on the vintage side and hoped there was an image that would work with the designer paper, and there was; hence this card!

I'm going to send this card to my little buddy Cassie, who's challenged in a lot of ways, but is never challenged when it comes to giving me lots of hugs and kisses. She loves getting mail and I know she'll love getting her own special Valentine too.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and don't forget to visit the rest of the design team to see what they created for you from our wonderful sketch. May the Lord richly bless your day. Today's Treasure: John 13:34-35.

  1. LOVE this card Cindy.  Can you tell me where you found the paper?  I've been searching the web for the past hour to no avail.
Thanks for sharing and for any help
