Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #312: Halloween with Gingham Cottage Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #312, where we have a Halloween theme and hope that you join us!

Our challenge website has a new look and updated graphics + a new Design Team member. We are looking for 2 more designers, with one preferably international. Please email me if interested.

This is the 3rd time I’ve recycled this card. I’ve been doing a lot of home preparation for fall and winter that limits my free time. I’m a firm believer in the OLD Farmer’s Almanac, especially after living in upstate New York for 15 years, and it’s predicting a really brutal winter. I’ve already been through a few polar vortex’s where I live and am not looking forward to the cold weather. I’m from California and while I can’t even imagine entertaining living there again, some things stay with you.

This project was also used for Global Design Project that earned a Special Mention.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with a Highland Heather A2 card base and layered on a piece of Pumpkin Pie from Gingham Cottage DSP with liquid adhesive.

I cut the image panel to size and stamped on a wreath from Gingham Cottage Suite Collection with Highland Heather ink.

I then went about stamping and die-cutting my images for the image panel.

The small bats were cut from the Scary Cute Bundle coordinating dies with White Glimmer Paper.

The large bat was cut from Black Glitter Paper

The 3 spiders were stamped in Granny Apple Green ink and cut from their coordinating dies in the Scary Cute Bundle.

For final assembly, I collaged the bottom right with the spiders and bat to size up how long I needed to cut the Silver Metallic Mesh. The ribbon was adhered to the bottom right with a tiny bit of Seal.

The spiders were adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The black bat was adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.

The 3 small bats were adhered with Mini Glue Dots.

To embellish, 5 small Rhinestone Basic Jewels were scattered about the wreath accenting the glitter bats.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
