Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for SUOC 273, where we are showcasing designer series paper and hope that you join us.
I kept my project very simple, but it’s exactly what I needed to ground my colored images from To a Wild Rose, Wild Rose Dies, and True Love Designer Series Paper.
You can use all of our coloring mediums directly onto our designer series paper, especially True Love DSP.
I started out with an A2 top-folding Basic Black card base and layered on a piece of True Love DSP. The flower and leaves were stamped onto Basic White Thick with Smoky Slate ink with the Stamparatus, and I left the images on the lid to re-stamp after they were colored with Stampin’ Blends. I have a VIDEO on technique that I shared with you previously.

For the Stampin’ Blends, I laid down Light Purple Posy on the rose, which left a fabulous hue. The petals were filled in with Balmy Blue. I did the same with the leaves bringing in Light Soft Sea Foam for the base and Old Olive to finish.
After coloring the images, I re-stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black to redefine the line art and cut with the coordinating dies. I lined the images up on the card and adhered the leaves first. The top leaf has a Stampin’ Dimensional while the other leaves and stem is adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The rose was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment was white heat embossed and adhered with Stampin’ Blends.
Sequins For Everything carried over from the Holiday Catalog and I finally opened this up. The silver hexagons worked beautifully with this project and I was very surprised with the unique sequin mixes that are begging to be used in shaker cards.
