Paper Pieced Pencil

Good morning and Happy Tuesday. I am always amazed at the sketches that Gloria comes up for us at Christian Paper Crafts and today is no different for Sketch Tuesday 44. Being the Design Team Coordinator does have its benefits meaning that I can see all of our challenges posted a month in advance and I assure you that Gloria has some fabulous sketches coming your way, as does the rest of our great challenge hostesses; and you'll be able to meet those who are outside of the design team soon when I put up a page for them at Christian Paper Crafts.

So onto our sketch for today, I made this what I consider to be a strange Back to School card with pink. The line of paper that I used is more for a baby or toddler but I thought that I'd get out of the box and sometimes staying inside is definitely better, and I do believe this is one of those times. It must have taken me at least 5 tries for the middle panel with machine sewing on it because I am not a sewing type of person. I'm lucky if I can get a button sewn on a shirt! I am going to use this challenge to make another card today and one that is more put together and planned without the literally hundreds of distractions that I had Sunday evening when i was trying to make this. I do hope that you enjoy it and thank you for looking and reading my blog. It is my pleasure and honor to have you here. God bless your day and many hugs! Today's Treasure: John 13:11-15. What are you seeing and hearing and believing? Does it line up with the Word of God? There's an awful lot of garbage going around out there from supposedly "Godly" people. Be discerning.
