More Dinoroar Inspiration

Hello there! I have more Dinoroar inspiration for you today.

I’ve had such fun working with the Dinoroar Suite this week and since Simple Stamping is tomorrow, I will also have a video for you using this fantastic product suite where you can see the products up close and personal. This is such a wonderfully easy and vivid card to make. The WOW factors on this card are the die-cut frame I made from Stitched Rectangles and using Sponge Daubers on the Dino Days DistINKtive images in a darker complimentary shade from the main image. Pearl Basic Jewels were colored in with dark Stampin’ Blends listed below. The solid trunk image from the palm tree was used to ground my dino’s. Never be afraid to go non-traditional with color or images. You would have never thought the image was a palm tree trunk otherwise. We have a tendency to aim for perfection rather than creative license.

The only reason why I have the Braided Linen Trim around the Pumpkin Pie and Terracotta Tile dino is as while I was lifting it off the Press ‘N Seal, the neck ripped. It was an easy enough re-stamp and die-cut, but I’m lazy and it worked. I used the wrap this time around for experimenting more and to remember that I had a blue tail to cover with the Basic Gray while keeping it all grounded.

This would be a great shadow-box card/design if you stacked the Stitched Rectangle dies, added window/acetate CS, or even a shaker with all of the above.

Depth, perception, and especially illusion, which is a very powerful word, really factor into this design. It’s clean, yet flows.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and that you so very much for stopping by. Have a great day and God bless. I will see you on Saturday for another Simple Stamping video.
