Markers + Watercolor Pencils with Harvest Meadow Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another project created with the Harvest Meadow Suite Collection. I’m really hoping for the opportunity to really dissect this wonderful suite with all of the incredible stand-alone dies.

This was a very easy card to create with endless color possibilities and a timeless sketch.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions, with measurements, are below.

I started out with a top-folding A2 Early Espresso card base and layered on a piece of Calypso Coral Subtles 6 x 6 DSP cut from the largest Stitched Rectangle Die with Seal.

I then cut a piece of Basic White CS from the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle Die and stamped the sentiment at the bottom in Calypso Coral ink.

I do wish I used Coastal Cabana or Bermuda Bay to even the color out a bit. Next time, as I have a ton of Thank You cards to create for all of the lovely Get Well cards, flowers, and wishes so many of you have sent me. I am so incredibly grateful. I will take a picture very soon to show you how I displayed them.

I wrapped a length of Linen Thread above the sentiment twice and tied it into a bow at the left. Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back of this panel and adhered to the card front.

The coneflowers took a little bit of time to color. Then again, I seem to have a lot of that on my hands these days without a functioning right leg.

I took a piece of Basic White Thick CS and colored the coneflower outline art image with Stampin’ Write Markers. MAKE SURE to leave the image on the lid of your Stamparatus.

Calypso Coral was used for the cone. Bermuda Bay was used at the top of the petals with Coastal Cabana layered in. Early Espresso was used for the leaves and stems.

I used the coordinating Watercolor Pencils to fill in the line art and blended the color out with a Blender Pen. I colored in the images again with Stampin’ Write Markers to crisp up the line art after coloring with Watercolor Pencils and die-cut from its coordinating die, which was adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the sentiment panel.

I added one small Elegant Faceted Gem to the top right of the image/sentiment panel for a little flare.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
