Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Let’s Craft & Create Challenge #192, where everything always goes on our monthly challenges. The bonus this month is using a sentiment, which I made sure to take front and center of my focal point on this project with Season of Chic Suite Collection, Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set, Seaside Shells Dies, and Seashells 3D Embossing Folder + Sale-A-Bration Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper.
With my background being on the busy side with my designer series paper and embossing + ribbon, it’s easy to create a simple focal point that grounds the project.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with an A2 card base and layered on a piece of Day at the Farm Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure with Seal Adhesive.
I cut the Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper horizontal strip to size and adhered this to the card base with Seal Adhesive.
I ran the Soft Sea Foam CS through the Seashells 3D EF and adhered this to the card base with Seal Adhesive.
I cut the image and sentiment circle using the 2nd largest stitched circle from Stylish Shapes Dies.
I used a large Blending Brush and a little bit of Soft Sea Foam ink to add color to the center of the circle. I then stamped the sentiment from Friends Are Like Seashells at the bottom of the circle in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I flipped the circle over and added 2 strips of Tear & Tape to the left back going about 1/3″ of the way on the left. I peeled off the backing of the Tear & Tape then looped our Natural Woven Ribbon around the left using the Tear & Tape to secure the ribbon to the circle on one side. Once the ribbon was down, I used Scotch Tape to secure the ribbon on the other side.
The die-cut elements cut from Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla CS are from the Chic Dies, which is part of the Texture Chic Suite Collection.
The stamped Crumb Cake seashell is from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set and Seaside Shells Dies.
For final assembly, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the circle and adhered this to the center.
The storm drain Crumb Cake cut, that’s the only name I can think of to call it, was adhered to the top center of the image panel with liquid adhesive, as was the Very Vanilla seashell at the left. The Soft Sea Foam seashell + the Crumb Cake stamped and die-cut seashell were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly, one large and 2 small Soft Succulent 2021 – 2023 In Color Opal Rounds were adhered to the image panel.
