Groovy Butterflies

Good morning friends and a very happy Monday to you. The kids are home from school today due to a holiday and I'm going to get back to the gym this morning for a few hours. I'm actually looking forward to water aerobics and yoga (no New Age junk involved). I've always loved swimming.

Today at Christian Paper Crafts is Color Monday and Jen chose a teal color with one color of choice. I am a challenge cheater, although I prefer to use the term "taking liberties," and used 3 colors. This also  happens to be the Clean and Simple challenge at Splitcoast Stampers too, so I'm combining them and multitasking.

As you can tell, this is a really easy card that took about 10 minutes to make. I am not a sponger and don't use this technique very often but it does add an extra element of dimension. You can either sponge in the same color of the paper or go darker. I used the same color as I'm not experimenting quite yet. Don't ask me why I didn't add some sparkle to this one because it would have been perfect for that. I also used a few new Stampin' Up! items. All products used to make this card are Stampin' Up!

Please let me know what you think and I pray you have a very blessed day. Today's Treasure: Acts 14:8-10. We are all crippled in one form or another. How are you going to let God heal you?
