FS264 Hugs & Prayers

Hi everybody. Today's wonderful Featured Stamper 264 (FS264) at Splitcoast Stampers is Cat Crazy, Janice Melton, who has an awesome gallery that I loved. Janice has many different styles and uses many different stamps so it wasn't hard to pick a card that I wanted to CASE. I chose Janice's Birthday Wishes card and made my Hugs & Prayers card. I used this week's Sketch Challenge 373 for my sketch.

I did my own ribbon treatment in that I used binding seam, sprayed some glimmer mist on it, scrunched it up, and then dried it with a heat tool real fast. I then tied it into a knot and wrapped the tails around the center and make my own ribbon flower. Glue dots helped keep it secure and I adhered a faux pearl to the center. I think you get a much fuller effect to your flower when you're wrapping from both sides. By the length of the ribbon you cut, you can make your flower any size. I think I'll do a video on this soon.

I kept the music and flower theme, but changed everything else. We'd love to have you join us today! Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me and God bless you. Today's Treasure: James 5:13-20.
