Flying Home Baby Card Colored With Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers

Hello there! My friends are becoming grandmothers and grandfathers at an alarming rate, so I’m making baby cards for their kids. The new Flying Home and Amazing Congratulations helped me do just that. I kept with Soft Sky as the main color and used other hues/shades of blues to stamp in the sentiment, pulled in a wee bit of ribbon and sequins. I lightly colored in the oval circle with Soft Sky ink with an Aquapainter to add dimension to the image.

The main image was colored using the new Stampin’ Blends Markers. Super easy and fun. You can actually get another few colors to color and blend with by using the tip-to-tip method. I’ll have to do a Quick Tip Video on that soon for you.

You have to admit this is a darling little card. As my GF is having twins, I should have masked off the first baby bird closest to the mama bird to reflect this. The Stampin’ Blends Markers make everything so perfect without a lot of effort, and I’m all about that. There are some fantastic images in the Flying Home stamp set and I love them all. They are big and great to color too!

Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit me today. God bless.
