How to Create a Window Front Card + You’re a Peach Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a window front card created with You’re a Peach Suite Collection.

I love window cards. They afford you a peek of the inside that is used for the outside, are easy to make, and might save you a little bit of time from in and out of the A2, depending on what your style is.

I brought in Petal Pink and Blackberry Bliss to compliment the suite collection colors even more!

I will walk you through how I assembled this below.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with an A2 card base in Basic White Thick and layered on a piece of You’re a Peach DSP with Seal.

I centered from top to bottom and left to right, the 5th largest Stitched Rectangle Die on the card front and ran this through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to create the window that shows the inside of the card.

To create the Basic White frame, I used the 2nd and the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle Dies. I arranged both dies on a piece of Basic White Regular and centered the 4th frame inside of the 2nd frame, that I adhered together with purple Painter’s Tape, which is very low tac.

I ran this through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to create the frame and then ran it back through the machine inside the Parisian Flourish EF. I adhered the embossed frame to the card front with liquid adhesive.

Once I had my frame adhered, I arranged the large leafy image from Sweet as a Peach stamp set ON TOP of the card so I could eyeball how the image lined up in the top left and bottom right of the corners. I grabbed the image on the lid of the Stamparatus, placed the card OPENED UP in the Stamparatus, and stamped the image in both corners with Pear Pizzazz ink.

I then stamped the sentiments in the center of the window with Calypso Coral ink.

The peach images are at the top left and bottom right of the frame + the leaves, that were stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink and cut with their coordinating die.

The peaches were stamped in Petal Pink ink. I sponged on Mango Melody around the image and re-stamped to add color. Finally, I sponged Calypso Coral around the very edge of the peaches for even more dimension, then cut the images from their coordinating die.

I arranged the peaches on top of the frame, carefully turned over the front so I could see my adhesive boundaries so it wouldn’t show through the window and made the appropriate tic marks with a pencil. The top left peach was adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional and the leaf adhered with liquid adhesive. The bottom right peach was adhered in the same manner.

You can see how this is done in the picture above.

To complete and finish up the inside and card window, I stamped the flower image in Petal Pink and sponged on Blackberry Bliss with a Sponge Dauber. For the bottom right flower, this was stamped in Petal Pink with Mango Melody sponged around the edges. All of the flowers were cut with their coordinating die and adhered to the inside with liquid adhesive.

I cut 3 large and 3 small of the stand-alone floral images from Petal Pink CS that I adhered to the center of the flowers with liquid adhesive.

What do you think? I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
