Whale of a Time Suite Collection Concept Art Cards

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for three Whale of a Time Suite Collection concept art cards. You will see these on page 95 of the Annual Catalog.

These are such simple and engaging cards that you can create in minutes. They’re really that easy. As always, a description and measurements are below, along with the products used to make these cards for you to purchase. All of these projects have great dimension, texture, coordinating colors, and embellishments to accent.

Starting with the upper left card with an A2, landscape, 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 Soft Sea Foam card base, I stamped the squid image with Soft Sea Foam ink in a diagonal pattern onto the card base. I cut out a coordinating piece of DSP from the largest Stitched Nested Labels Dies, placed Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back, and adhered it directly to the center of the card base. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark onto Calypso Coral cardstock and heat embossed with white powder. The “love” part of the sentiment was stamped onto a piece of Regular Whisper White cardstock in Just Jade, then carefully trimmed and adhered directly over the Calypso Coral cardstock using Seal+ Adhesive, which I love. In Saturday’s video, I will have a few tips for you how to use this new adhesive. I laid down a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive at the bottom of the sentiment on the back, looped the Pool Party 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon, place Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and adhered to the card front.

The upper right card has an A2, top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, Pacific Point card base. The DSP is cut to 4 x 5-1/4 and adhered with Seal+. The 3 DSP strips measure: Pool Party 1-7/8 x 1/2; Bumblebee 2-7/8 x 1/2; Granny Apple Green 2-3/4 x 1/2. The sentiment was stamped with Calypso Coral ink onto a piece of Regular Whisper White cardstock measuring 1-7/8 x 3/4, snip angled on the right, and adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Pacific Point sequins were adhered to the card using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen and the Take Your Pick tool.

For our last card, this is a 4 x 4 top-folding card with a Bumblebee base. The fish image was stamped across the card with Bumblebee ink. The DSP adhered with Seal+ measures 3-1/4 square. The sentiment was stamped onto Shaded Spruce cardstock with Versamark, heat embossed with white powder, and die-cut from the smallest rectangle from Stitched Rectangles Dies. The fish image was again stamped across the sentiment panel with Shaded Spruce ink. A length of Pool Party 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon was looped behind the sentiment panel and adhered to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Silver Whale of a Time sequins were adhered to the front of the card with a Fine-Tip Glue Pen and the Take Your Pick tool.

I hope you enjoyed today’s concept art cards and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
