Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #310: Autumm/Fall Masculine Project

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #310 where we have an autumn/fall theme and hope that you join us!

Today’s masculine-ish project was created from the Rustic Harvest Suite Collection + the Wheat Dies, both from our Holiday Catalog. I also brought in He’s the Man Designer Series Paper, Black Glitter Paper, and Distressed Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The heart and those little banana thingie looking curved dies included in the Wheat Dies, are perfect to cut pumpkin accents from! The heart above the sentiment was also cut from the Wheat Dies. It’s that coordination thing.

There’s so much going on with this card that it wasn’t necessary to add embellishments.

TIP: When adhering different types of DSP or CS, such as glitter or glimmer paper + some specialty DSP; Tear & Tape is the best adhesive to use. It’s all about the adhesive and cardstock compatibility properties.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with an A2 side-folding card base. I cut my DSP to size and adhered all of the pieces with liquid adhesive.

I used our Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack that I wrapped around the left side of the card base x2 and tied a bow, which is why I chose the side-folding A2 card base. I could have gone with my usual top-folding A2, but wanted to avoid adding another layer to this card to keep the postage cost down.

I then went about my stamping and die-cutting.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Harvest stamp set, which is part of the Rustic Harvest Suite Collection, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Pale Papaya CS and cut to size.

I die-cut my pumpkin pieces and stem/accent stem from Rustic Harvest Dies and Black Glitter Paper and pumpkin accents from Wheat Dies and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.

The heart and pumpkin accents were cut from Wheat Dies and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper + the Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow CS die-cut leaves to the right of the sentiment panel.

For final assembly, I added Tear & Tape adhesive to the far left and right side of the large pumpkin die-cut and tucked the 2 small pumpkin dies behind the larger pumpkin cut. The Wheat Dies pumpkin detail was adhered to the pumpkin with little teeny Fine Tip Glue Pen drops on the back and adhered to the glitter pumpkin as shown.

The large gold stem behind the pumpkin was adhered with Tear & Tape at the bottom and tucked behind the pumpkin.

The entire assembled pumpkin die-cut was adhered to the card base with Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The little accent to the right of the stem was adhered with liquid adhesive.

After sizing up my Pale Papaya sentiment panel. I adhered the Wheat Dies leaves cut from Mossy Meadow and Crushed Curry with Tear & Tape under the right of the panel.

Two-thirds of the sentiment panel was adhered with Tear & Tape with the left end adhered with Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Gold Distressed Specialty Paper heart from Wheats Dies was adhered with 1 Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensional above the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
