Blooms & Wishes Clean and Simple Tuesday Card for July 2017 Card Kit

Clean & Simple Tuesday

Hello there my friends! Today’s Clean and Simple Tuesday card is again featuring the Blooms & Wishes stamp set included in my July 2017 Card Kit, with the addition of Background Bits, a Hostess stamp set, that you can pick up for FREE with your Hostess Rewards/Dollars during the month of July when you purchase my Card Kit and then decide to place an order taking you to $150 in product, before taxes and shipping. Any Card Kit that is purchased during the month of July, the amount will count towards your $150 Hostess Benefits. Of course, there will be more FREE gifts from me as my way of thanking you for choosing me as your Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator. Here is the card that we are making today!

The process video I have for you today is something that you will enjoy as I discovered a happy accident along the way with Blooms & Wishes and Background Bits, which I now consider a must have staple in your craft room. I love the way my card turned out. My inspiration is from the new catalog on Page 139. I did change up at least by 2 items making the card officially mine, so to speak. This is also just one of the many cards that you can make with my July 2017 Card Kit.

The pictures really do not do this lovely card justice. The lack of a solid center in the flower is really bothering me, so I will be stamping a small center with Smoky Slate Classic Stampin’ Ink Pad. That one accent will completely change the look of this card for the better. A little gray dot can do that. The front card panel sentiment was stamped in Basic Gray Archival rather than Smoky Slate as stated in the video. My apologies.

I did a test run putting the card into a Medium Whisper White Envelope and it fit perfectly, bow and all, without too much bulk. You will need an extra stamp to mail this card or change the bow to a knot or cheater’s bow to flatten it out a bit. You can also use the felt Powder Pink Bitty Bow included in your kit for the center of your flower or adhered to the ribbon. You will see a quick glimpse in the video of how I put the felt bow on top of the ribbon. I also think Powder Pink is a lovely color for a woman who is dealing with breast cancer. The ribbon is pliable enough to make your own loop.

Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit me today and for your support. I greatly appreciate you! I have a few videos coming up for you this week along with a several packages of items that I need to de-stash. Would you rather have me put as much as I can into a Priority Mail Medium Size Box for a set price with various crafting items of my choice that will be extremely well-rounded for your stamping needs and budget friendly. Please let me know your thoughts on that. It’s just going to be a box packed full with at least $250 of products inside, many which are new. However, it would be a crap shoot for you as to what you’re getting. I’ve seen a lot of other crafters do this and it’s worked out very well. I just want to get rid of everything that I need to, get my craft room under complete control and organization, and then do a fabulous craft room tour for you. I have received a ton of emails about an updated craft room video. I can’t wait to show you either!

If you need anything, please do not hesitate to contact me. God bless.
