Blissful Butterfly for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge 13

Good morning and welcome to another Stampin' Up! Only Challenge! Today our challenge to you is to use products from the 2011 Sale-A-Bration Catalog,and this does include the products listed on page 11 of the catalog, many of which can be found in the current 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog. I all but CASEd the Bliss card on page 10, using different colors and elements, but it's clear where my inspiration is from.

Stamps: Bliss
Card Stock: Naturals (Ivory), Not Quite Navy, Peach Parfait
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Riding Hood Red, Tea Stain, Versamark
Accessories: Basic Jewels (Rhinestone), Edge Distress Tool, Linen Thread, Bigz Two Tags Die-Cut, Vintage Wallpaper Dry Embossing Folder
Technique: Die-cutting, dry embossing, edge distressing, ink distressing
Size: 4 x 4

1.      Cut Not Quite Navy card stock to 4 x 4 so that the crease is on the left side.

2.      Stamp the large brocade image using Versamark in the middle towards the crease of the card and stamp a flower image towards the top right of the card.

3.      Die-cut a folding tag from the Two Tags die-cut with Peach Parfait card stock and then dry emboss using the Vintage Wallpaper folder.

4.      Fold the tag and tie a length of Linen Thread through the top hole of the tag. Place Dimensionals on the back and adhere to the card at an angle as shown.

5.      Stamp the sentiment “Bliss” with Riding Hood Red ink onto Ivory Naturals card stock, cut out, blade distress, ink distress the edges with Tea Stain. Add Dimensionals to the back and adhere to the tag at an angle as shown.

6.      Stamp a butterfly with Pear Pizzazz ink onto Ivory Naturals card stock and cut out. Score down the middle of the butterfly and add 4 rhinestones. Place Mini Glue Dots on the back score and adhere to the card as shown.
