A Masculine (sort of) Vintage Birthday Card

Good morning. The moving truck is due to arrive this morning for the start of a 4-day pack and the official move begins! It's going to be a long and busy 4 days. I'm going to hate it. I really dislike it when people are in my house doing stuff and then they bother you when you just want to be left alone to do your thing. Then I'll be trapped on a plane with kids and pets, and in a hotel room until my furniture arrives at the beginning of April. I hate that limbo stage. I'm a totally OCD routine oriented person. I just got my things, KWIM? I'm flexible because I have to be as a mom and about a thousand other reasons, but I like my routine, and it's going to be trashed for at least 3 weeks total because the construction people were last week. Ugh.

Here's a card that I made as a sorta masculine vintage card? You're not getting a magazine reject card today. I think it's cool. It's basically a CASE of this Nichole Heady card but I used a lot of different things on my card because the Papertrey Ink March release had not come out yet while I'm writing this post. I used what I had on hand to make this card and winged the rest. The Pure Poppy just jumped out at me and I thought that it was pretty cool and an easy CASE since I still can't seem to get a second alone! You keep hearing me beg for this, but just one hour without an interruption. Is that too much to ask? I'll regret saying this when I'm an empty nester, but I've got 3 teenagers still living at home who are big enough to where they can let me chill and unwind. I'm going nuts! Reading my own posts even depress me anymore, so that's why I keep asking for prayer as well. Overwhelmed seems to be the new norm and I don't like it. I also wish that Wal-Mart didn't run out of my favorite ice cream. Sitting down with a big bowl of Eddy's Berry Sherbet watching House Hunters would be a good evening.

Thank you for stopping by and here's my CASE card! God bless you and have a great day — as I research the Bible about verses on grumbling for Today's Treasure…….PS: My pictures are terrible!

  1. You are so funny!  I am so with you on the OCD thing and having a routine.  I hate to be off track.  I hated moving this last April too.  Hopefully you will be all settled and in your new home soon.  🙂
    Hugs~
