Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Beauty & Joy with Come To Gather Designer Series Paper.
Beauty & Joy is a lovely 13-piece photopolymer DistINKtive stamp set formulated with a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images. I used a sentiment and fall leaf image stamped off once with Mint Macaron ink from Beauty & Joy paired with Come To Gather Designer Series Paper. I die-cut out the sentiment with a Stitched Shapes Circle.
I used 5 different patterns from the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper pack. At the very bottom of the woodgrain DSP, I had a sliver left over and placed it the opposite way of the grain to ground the DSP and add an unexpected element to the design. I love doing this. You just play with it a bit, mixing and matching patterns, then do what you think is totally illogical in your mind, put it together, and here’s what I did. The wavy line I used to die-cut the Pretty Peacock gingham pattern in the DSP is from In The Woods dies.
