SUOC #332 | Fun Fold | Zoo Crew Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #332, where are theme is to create a Fun Fold card, and hope that you join us.

There are literally thousands of resources out there to pick your Fun Fold card. Mine is very simple today making a Book Binding Fun Fold with the Zoo Crew Suite Collection. This super cute birthday card would fit a little girl perfectly. There are some fabulous standalone die-cuts in this suite collection, many of which I still have yet to explore.

Hopefully this weekend, I might have some 2023 Holiday Catalog projects up for you or an unboxing video.

I cut my Basic Black CS to 11-1/2 x 4-1/4 and score it at 5-1/2. Move the card stock to the left of the score line by 1″ and score again. This is what makes your Book Binding. Adhere the 1″ to the card base and fold back the 4-1/2″ flap to the left.

I cut a piece of Pool Party CS to 3/4″ x 4 and adhered this to the left side of the card with liquid adhesive. A piece of Basic White Regular CS was cut to 5/8″ x 3-7/8. I stamped the music notes from Zany Zoo onto the CS with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink randomly and adhered this atop of the Pool Party CS with liquid adhesive. I then cut a piece of Petal Pink | Basic White Ribbon and tied that into a bow at the left as shown.

I then cut the Pool Party mat to 4-1/4 x 4 and adhered this to the right side of the card base with liquid adhesive. I cut a piece of the musical DSP from Zoo Crew to 4-1/8 x 3-7/8 and adhered this atop of the Pool Party mat with liquid adhesive.

I cut 2 curtain toppers at different widths and 2 curtain panels from the Zany Zoo Dies out of Pool Party CS. This is where you have to wing your measurements to achieve the optics that you want. I adhered the die-cuts with liquid adhesive and the top curtain topper with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Petal Pink CS with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and used my Paper Trimmer to cut. The curtain ties were also cut from Petal Pink CS and were adhered with liquid adhesive + a rhinestone to embellish.

I adhered the sentiment to the center of the curtain topper with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For final assembly, I adhered a piece of Basic Black CS to the bottom of my stage to ground the hippo that was colored in with a Basic Gray Watercolor Pencil, blended out with a Blender Pen, then fussy cut with Paper Snips.

I cut a Layering Circle Die measuring 2-5/8 at its widest point out of More Dazzle Specialty Paper and adhered this to the center of the stage with Tear & Tape.

Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to adhere the hippo atop center of the dazzle.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
