Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Press On card that I made Halloween using Magic in This Night Suite Collection, with a smidgen of Gilded Autumn DSP tossed in.
I’m really loving Press On and you’re going to be seeing this incorporated a lot into our other coordinating products. I took it Halloween today with the coffee cup on the left side of the card that was paper pieced together using designer series paper from the Magic in This Night Suite Collection. The coffee cup is Magic in This Night DSP and Cajun Craze cardstock with a piece of Regular Whisper White cardstock pieced top center to display the small bat from the same DSP that I die-cut out from the dies in this suite.
The pumpkins are fussy cut from Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper. The sentiment strip was punched out with the Classic Label Punch and I’m on the fence about this. I think I’m going to switch it out to Pretty Peacock cardstock and white heat emboss the sentiment. This was adhered to the card with Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and will be easy enough to remove. As always, I will have your shopping list and instructions below.
It’s amazing what you can do with our designer series paper. Using our embossing folders on Whisper White cardstock will really help reduce the starkness of the white space and adds dimension. The Cobweb embossed image panel was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals, as were the coffee cups, pumpkins, and sentiment panel. There was a fair amount of fussy cutting, but it was worth it in the long run. Scattered about Iridescent Pearls finish this project.
A lot of different techniques were applied in this card that is very easy for you to duplicate in no time at all. I hope you enjoyed today’s project.
