Love Always Protects

Happy Thursday everybody. That means tomorrow is Friday and the end of another long week. At this point in time, I'm pretty much certifiable because I got Angella's Bible Verse Thursday challenge all messed up. Even with showing you this card a few weeks early, I won't be giving anything away, so you'll just have to wait to see what it is, but you can always play along in today's Bible Verse Thursday at Christian Paper Crafts that I don't have a card to show you for! It's been my weekly habit over the past few months to combine this challenge with Mercy Kerin's Lord Have Mercy Sketch Challenge every Tuesday. I think this card turned out real nice. It took me at least 50 photos to get the right light as I had to move all over the house to find some good light. I ended up just right across the room taking the picture in the corner that my sewing machine is located. A lot of little things went into this card, which I will describe below, but I tried various different methods of adding dimension to it, such as sponging the edges and using dry embossing folders on designer paper. There's a lot of other little things too! I hope you like this and thank you for stopping by. God bless you. Today's Treasure: 1 Corinthians 13:7 (paraphrased), Love always protects. If you have somebody that loves and protects you, count your blessings and give thanks to God because it is not easy when you are not loved or protected, and you're on your own.
