Let’s Craft & Create Challenge #195 | Lace, Ribbon or Twine

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Let’s Craft & Create Challenge #195, where the theme is always Anything Goes with an option. May’s option is add lace, ribbon or twine and I chose the latter.

These were super simple to make with White Craft Ink swiping atop of embossed card stock and would make a cute all-occasion gift set.

I used the Happy Labels stamp set with the Banners Punch. Happy Labels is part of the Happy Labels Bundle that includes a punch. I wanted the sentiment banner end and tucked a piece of Perfectly Penciled DSP under.

All of the cards were created exactly the same. I just used different embossing folders and colors. This would look amazing with any of our colors.

Today’s colors are Soft Sea Foam, Pale Papaya, So Saffron, and Balmy Blue with the embossing folders listed in the Supplies.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started with all of my card bases and cut the colored card stock to size.

I had already picked out my embossing folders and chose the appropriate sentiments from Happy Labels that were stamped onto Basic White Regular CS and cut to size depending on their width and height, then bannered the ends with the Banner Punch.

I cut the Perfectly Penciled DSP to size per the sentiment panel and tucked it under the sentiment with liquid adhesive.

I embossed all of the panels and then swiped a White Craft Ink Pad over the embossed card stock until I achieve the coverage tha I wanted.

For final assembly, I adhered the embossed panels to the mat with Seal Adhesive.

I then measured out where I wanted to wrap around the Basic White Baker’s Twine and adhered the ends to the back with Scotch Tape.

To adhere the sentiment to the twine the way I did, I cut full-size Stampin’ Dimensionals in half and adhered them to the very bottom of the DSP tucked under the sentiment. I did this so the sentiment was lay correctly over the Baker’s Twine.

I cut lengths of Whisper White Baker’s Twine to tie a cheater’s bow around the twine to the left of each sentiment.

Lastly, I adhered the entire panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
