SUOC 303: Flowers

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge 303, where the theme is flowers, and hope that you join us today.

With the new Annual Catalog release a few weeks ago, the creative opportunities are endless with our colors and patterns, everything.

I used the Awash in Beauty Suite Collection with 2 of our standalone Dies of Stitched Rectangles and Basic Borders to cut my stitched and scalloped accents. These products are what I consider staples and must-haves in your crafty arsenal.

This project has a lot of dimension on all 4 levels.

I brought in the Artistically Inked stamp set for the sole purpose of using the dots as stamens on 2 of my flowers. I could have easily drawn the stamens in with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker or Stampin’ Blend … this was just easier. I had a bit of wrist fatigue from painting a BLACK accent wall in my bedroom that turned out fabulous!

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with a top-folding A2 Basic White Thick CS base.

I took a piece of 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Basic White Regular CS and adhered a piece of 4-1/4 x 1-7/8 piece of Coastal Cabana Brights 6 x 6 DSP and adhered it to the bottom of the Basic White CS with Seal. I cut this panel with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die for the consistent seamless blend thing.

I took another piece of 4-1/4 x -1/2 Basic White Regular CS that was cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die.

I sized up the measurement between the Coastal Cabana DSP to determine where to cut in my scallops from Basic Borders for my image panel. I need this cut to layout the rest of the project.

All of the greenery was stamped onto Basic White CS with Old Olive ink from the True Beauty stamp set that is part of the Awash in Beauty Suite Collection, then cut from their coordinating Organic Beauty Dies, which are also part of the suite collection.

I stamped all of the florals onto Basic White CS in Sweet Sorbet and Poppy Parade, which were cut from their coordinating dies.

When I figured out where I wanted to stamp my stamens after experimenting with how to lay this all out with presentation and color, the little dots from Artistically Inked where stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I arranged everything onto my image panel without adhering to stamp the little sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black in. I built up the images around the sentiment.

For final assembly, the mat was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The 2 large greens were adhered to the image panel with liquid adhesive.

The rest of the florals were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals onto the image panel.

The image panel was adhered to the mat with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied my favorite Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon into a double bow that was adhered with a Mini Glue Dot under center of the image panel.

I used all 3 sizes of our Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels x5 to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
