You’re a Peach + Basic Borders Dies

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another project created with the fabulous You’re a Peach Suite Collection with another great new product of Basic Border Dies.

I am so thrilled the Basic Borders Dies were released in the new catalog. This product is an absolute must-have staple in your collection.

Above is how the dies are going to cut for endless creative opportunities. I have already created a cloud stencil using the top die from our Window Sheets to dauber, sponge or brush blend a cloudy background.

Here is the clean and simple card I created using the triangular edge pattern. As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.

I started out with a top-folding A2 Balmy Blue card base and layered on a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Balmy Blue stripe pattern from You’re a Peach DSP.

I was able to achieve the triangle center peak by adhering the Balmy Blue mat with the peak at 2-3/4″, which is the center of 5-1/2″. I used Pale Papaya with a Blending Brush to add a little color to the image panel background.

I then stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black at the bottom right of the card.

For the branch and leaves, these were colored with Stampin’ Write Markers in Early Espresso and Pear Pizzazz, and then cut out with the coordinating Peach Dies.

The peaches were stamped in Mango Melody with Calypso Coral applied to a Sponge Dauber around the edges of the images for a 2-tone look on top of our Distinktive peach images, and then cut out with the coordinating Peach Dies. The peach stamp is one image that die-cuts the 3 peaches separately.

All of the images were adhered with Mini and full-size Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a length of Linen Thread around the top of the stem into a bow for a little embellishment.

You know how I love my texture and dimension and there is plenty here; from the blended brush background, to the diagonal striped DSP, Basic Borders, 2-tone Distinktive images, tied up with delicate thread.
