Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #314 | Giving Thanks

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #314, where our theme is giving thanks and hope that you join us.

There are so many places this theme covers … we all know giving thanks is not just one day out of the year.

This is such a fun and easy design created from the Window Wishes Bundle in the Holiday Catalog on page 36. The sentiment is from the Season of Chic stamp set that is on page 99 in the Annual Catalog.

These cards are purely tone-on-tone stamping with heat embossing and a ton of dimension.

I adore these little houses that remind me of my little minimalist bungalow. The color opportunities are endless for any occasion.

The card on the left is more so of a nontraditional Christmas or summer card. The card on the right is autumnal; both of which are also the perfect grateful friendship cards.

Both card bases are Basic White Thick CS A2 landscape.

The image panel was cut to size below and I stamped the sentiments first onto the image panels with Versamark ink that were heat set with silver on the left and gold on the right.

I double stamped the tone-on-tone with the cardstock and ink making the ink a little bit darker on its coordinating cardstock to ensure the windows were defined.

The colors used on this card are Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana, and Basic Gray with a silver embossed sentiment.

The colors used on this card are Sweet Sorbet, Mango Melody, Old Olive, and Soft Suede with a gold embossed sentiment.

For final assembly, the houses and roofs were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Everything lines up perfectly on both cards to keep it consistent.

Always adhere the center image first and work your way out from there.
