Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an adorable Christmas card featuring Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection and the Mountain Air Bundle. I am such a fan of non-traditional colors on any and everything.
This is a frame card, much like yesterday’s card, both of which were easy to create.
As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.
I started out with an A2 landscape Pool Party card base and layered on a piece of the Pool Party and Basic White stripe pattern from Sweet Stockings DSP with Seal.
Remember, all of the dimensions are below under the Instructions. I’m describing to you the order of assembly.
I then cut out a frame from the card base for a window.
The Blushing Bride, Basic White, and Silver snowflake pattern Stitched Rectangles frame was cut from Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper and adhered over the window with liquid adhesive.
I stamped the Mint Macaroon Christmas tree from Whimsical Trees that was cut with its coordinating die. The other 2 trees are from the Mountain Air Bundle and stamped in Polished Pink and Misty Moonlight then cut with their coordinating dies.
Before I adhered the trees, I adhered a piece of Basic White CS to the inside of the card lining up the placement of where I wanted the sentiment stamps to show through using the Stamparatus. I can’t stress enough how important this invaluable tool is. I use it with everything.
Both sentiments are from Whimsical Trees that I stamped in Poppy Parade and Mint Macaroon. A Wonderful Snowflake embellishment from Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection was adhered to the inside of the card next to the sentiment.
The Mint Macaroon and Polished Pink trees were adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Misty Moonlight tree was adhered with liquid adhesive.
Now, this is where I jumped out of my purist mode … I scribbled down a few lines from a Versamark Pen and sprinkled on our retired Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder that was heat set to ground the trees.

- Card base: A2 landscape 5-1/2 x 4-1/4, Pool Party.
- Card base DSP: Pool Party and Basic White stripe pattern, Sweet Stockings DSP.
- Card base window: Cut into card base with 3rd largest Rectangle Square Die measuring 3-1/4 x 2.
- Card base window frame: Cut from Polished Pink snowflake pattern, Whimsy & Wonder DSP, cut with the 3rd largest and 5th largest Rectangle Square Dies measuring 3-1/4 x 2 and 4-1/8 x 2-3/4, evenly nested within each other.
