Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Waterfront Concept Art card.
You will find this beauty on page 125 of the current Annual Catalog. I love the masculine look of this card with just a hint of girly with the Crushed Curry scallop felt from the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit, which will be retiring on June 3. I’ve used this kit a lot throughout the past year on various projects and love all of the fun elements in it.
As always, the products and instructions are below. This is a very well thought out and balanced card with the colors and embellishments.
I used a top-folding, A2, landscape Thick Whisper White card base. The Buffalo Check background was stamped onto a piece of regular Whisper White with Crumb Cake ink and adhered with SNAIL.
The Perennial Essence Vellum in Old Olive mats the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper that was stamped 3x with the tree trio image from Waterfront. I achieved the messy watercolor look by tapping Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight Pigment Sprinkles directly onto the image and spritzing it with water. I adhered the mat and image panel with Tear & Tape.
I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around my fingers a few times and secured it to the image panel with a Glue Dot. At each end of the Crushed Curry felt scallop embellishment from the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit, 1 Mini Stampin’ Dimensional was placed to adhere to the image panel.
I stamped a sentiment from Here’s a Card onto a scrap of Whisper White and stacked 2 Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on each end and secured the cluster to the card front.
All three of these stamp sets are carrying over to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I hope you enjoyed today’s project.
