Vellum Paper Piecing + Background DSP

Hello there! I know I said I was going to close out March with SAB, but I’m sitting on a few bundles that are screaming for attention.

I have a top-folding A2 Fresh Fig base with a piece of Floral Romance DSP in a light Sahara Sand woodgrain pattern positioned horizontally to offset the vertical lilies. On the DSP, there’s a graphic splotch image that I stamped off 3x in Sahara Sand and laid it down, which shows up in the pictures. It just needed something.

The stems are in Petal Pink ink. I took one of the vellum floral patterns from Floral Romance, adhered it to Whisper White CS with a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet, and die-cut it out with the Lily Framelits. I added Froster Flower Embellishments on the lilies for a little fun on top of their DSP coordinating flowers. I love working with vellum. I tied Old Olive Linen Thread, which really should be a staple, wrapped it around the DSP the 3x, and did a cheater bow. The die-cut YOU is from Celebrate You Thinlets 3x with Sahara Sand CS, stacked, and lightly inked around the edges with Fresh Fig so it wouldn’t fade into the background.

You get a peak of the inside using the same DSP and Life is Grand, which has some fabulous large sentiments that I find myself reaching for a lot. Thank you for stopping by to visit me. Have a great day and God bless.
