Valentine’s Day Candy Bar Gift Pull | Country Lane Floral Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for some adorable full-size candy bar gifts for any occasion that are so easy to make using the Country Floral Lane Suite Collection.

I brought in Give It a Whirl Dies for the sentiment panel and Tulips Dies for the Mossy Meadow stem. Festive Pearls were used to embellish.

I also brought in a retired hole punch to thread the ribbon through, but there are many current die-cuts and punches that will give you the same results.

I say this every year that I’m so ready to give up blogging and just do Facebook Live, that I’m seriously leaning towards, as it would be so much easier. It’s going to be a tough 6 months after I get the right leg plate and screws removed aka my internal barometer, and that’s propelling me to change.

You create the candy bar holder, ribbon + insert the candy bar, wrap your designer series paper around the candy holder, decorate … in that order.

1. Candy holder base: 6 x 7-1/2, Crumb Cake CS.
2. Score along the 6″ side at the 1-1/2″ and 4″ marks using the Paper Trimmer Scoring Blade or the Simply Scored Tool.
3. Add Tear & Tape Adhesive along the bottom of the middle & smaller panels. Add another strip along the edge of the smaller panel.
4. Fold in the large panel without the adhesive on it first, then fold in the small panel.
5. Punch or die-cut a hole at the center top about 5/8″ down.
6. Use a Crimper tool (retired) to crimp the end or Simply Scored Tool to create the look of faux crimping.
7. Thread a 20″ piece of ribbon that is at least 5/8″ wide.
8. Add the candy bar on top of the ribbon, pushing it into the pouch.
9. Tie another piece of ribbon around the top as shown.
