Sweet Gingerbread Bundle + Artisan Additions Dies

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an adorable Christmas card created with the Sweet Gingerbread Bundle that you can fine on page 20 of the Holiday Catalog and Artisan Addition Dies in the Annual Catalog.

I really enjoy using nontraditional colors during the holidays and other times of the year rather than the expected red and green. Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Smoky Slate make up today’s color palette. A Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker was used for my splatter.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are described in the narrative below.

I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Basic White Thick CS base.

I cut a piece of Smoky Slate CS to 4 x 5-1/2. I brought in Artisan Additions Dies for my frame and decorative inlay. It’s critical that you cut this die with it centered on the Smoky Slate CS then run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. You will end up with 2 cut pieces. Stampin’ Dimensionals were adhered to the frame and then adhered to the card base. I inlaid the decorative panel directly to the card base with liquid adhesive.

I went about stamping and die-cutting the rest of the elements for this card from the Sweet Gingerbread Bundle described below.

  1. Trees: Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.
  2. House: Crumb Cake.
  3. House decor: Early Espresso.
  4. Door, Windows, Roof: Blushing Bride.
  5. Sentiment: Early Espresso.
  6. Sentiment accents: Blushing Bride stamped off x1 with the lollipop image from the bundle.
  7. Wreath: Pear Pizzazz.

After I had all of my pieces stamped, I cut them from their coordinating dies. I also cut a heart accent from Blushing Bride CS from the Gingerbread House Dies.

I distressed the edge of the sentiment with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso ink, just a little bit.

For final assembly, everything was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals, including the heart and wreath, as shown.

Three small Iridescent Pearl Basics were adhered to the wreath to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
