Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Seasonal Wreaths + Toile Tidings Suite Bundle for SUOC237: Die-cutting and hope that you join us.
Seasonal Wreaths is a photopolymer stamp set outside of the Toile Tidings Suite Bundle that coordinates with the All Around Wreath Dies that are included in the bundle. The design possibilities are truly endless and unfortunately, I do not have enough time this week to cover all of them, but hope to provide you with some inspiration … and there’s definitely a story I’m telling you in our Saturday video. However, I definitely think this project is outside of the box for the bundle. There is no Christmas on this card.
I used 3 different types of ribbon on this card, which is very unusual, but it really worked out! The die-cut wreath is wrapped with a new In-Color ribbon that I took Paper Snips to cut the colored scalloped edges off and used the Crumb Cake 1/4′ center of the ribbon. Braided Linen was tied and attached to the branch image outlined with Stampin’ Write Markers.
Toile Christmas, where the branch image is from, is a rubber cling stamp set, so I was able to color direct to stamp with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker with Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive markers for the greenery. I colored in the branch image with Watercolor Pencils in Granny Apple Green (berries) and Early Espresso (branch). With the leaves, I used the Old Olive marker to direct color to stamp and used a Blender Pen to pick up the ink to blend out a little bit.
