SUOC #380 | CASE the Designer Christy Stanford | Sketched Butterflies Bundle

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another card created for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #380, where we are CASEing the Designer, Christy Stanford. HERE is the card that I CASE’d and what I made from her inspiration.

I used the Sketched Butterflies Bundle that you can find on the Last Chance List or in one of my BOGO/PRODUCT BOXES.

I changed the designer series paper, added embellishments, and used a different method to color the image with Stampin’ Blends vs. watercoloring. This is such a clean and simple, yet elegant card, that took minutes to make.

As always, basic and project specific supplies are below.

I started out with an A2 top-folding Basic White Thick CS and layered a piece of 2025-2027 In Color Designer Series Paper in Secret Sea.

I cut the 3rd largest frame from Textured Notes out of Basic White Regular CS and stamped the sentiment from Sketched Butterflies in Secret Sea ink at bottom left, that was adhered to the card base with Seal Adhesive.

Next, I stamped the large butterfly from Sketched Butterflies onto Basic White Thick CS with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and heat embossed that with clear embossing powder.

The butterfly was colored with Stampin’ Blends in Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, and Secret Set, then cut from it’s coordinating die, then adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, 3 light blue Muted Palette Dots were used to embellish.
