Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #368 where we have a Winter Inspiration Picture for you and hope that you join us.

Inspiration challenges are so much fun, as there’s so much open to interpretation and elements that you can pull from the picture. There’s a lot going on with this one from plaids to purples. I went with the plaid to make this super easy masculine-ish card using designer series paper and frame from the Storybook Moments Suite Collection, the sentiment from Something Fancy + colored ribbon and embellishments.
As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with an A2 side-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Calypso Coral card base. I picked a few patterns from the Timeless Plaid DSP and tore the edges pretty random. I inked up a Sponge Dauber with Pecan Pie ink to dirty up the edges and then adhered the DSP to the card base.
Next, I cut a Calypso Coral frame from the Storybook Friends Dies and the center sentiment panel from Very Vanilla CS. The sentiment from Something Fancy was stamped onto the Very Vanilla oval with Pecan Pie ink and heat embossed with Clear Powder.
I colored a length of Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with a Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend that was subsequently adhered behind the sentiment panel with Seal. The frame was laid around the sentiment panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered to the card.

Lastly, five Calypso Coral Ombre Matte Decorative Dots were used to embellish.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
